Serasa Experian
I worked as a developer at Serasa Experian, contributing to the evolution of credit intelligence solutions for agribusiness, with a special focus on Agro Score, a product designed to support credit decisions based on the risk analysis of rural producers.
My work was mainly focused on the modernization of a legacy application, transforming it into a modular, scalable architecture oriented to micro-frontends.
𧩠Architecture Migration and Micro-frontends
One of the main challenges of the project was the migration from a legacy monolithic system to a new version of the product, based on micro-frontends, allowing greater independence for teams, better scalability, and continuous product evolution.
We used Single SPA to orchestrate the micro-frontends, where:
- Each business service started to have its own micro-frontend
- The application gained better separation of responsibilities
- Deployments became safer and more decoupled
π Consolidated View Micro-frontend (Credit Summary)
I worked on developing a central micro-frontend responsible for presenting a consolidated summary of rural producer credit analysis, bringing together critical information from multiple services.
This module played a key role in the user experience, offering:
- Unified view of credit data
- Smooth navigation between different analyses
- Reduced complexity for analysts and end-users
π§ Technologies Used
π Front-end
- React
- TypeScript
- Single SPA for micro-frontends orchestration
- Redux Toolkit for global state management
π§ Backend / BFF
In addition to the front-end, I also worked on the BFF (Backend for Frontend) layer, being responsible for:
- Developing frontend-specific routes
- Integration between the micro-frontends and the central data layer
- Implementation using NestJS
- Architecture based on the Hexagonal Pattern, ensuring decoupling between domain, infrastructure, and external interfaces
π Impact and Learnings
This experience strengthened my skills in:
- Complex and distributed architectures
- Legacy system migration without business interruption
- Micro-frontends in large-scale corporate environments
- Efficient integration between Front-end and BFF
- Mission-critical products with high impact on financial decisions
Working at Serasa Experian demonstrates my ability to operate in enterprise contexts, tackling real challenges of scalability, architecture governance, and continuous evolution of strategic products.
